Could you journey from Athens to the Edinburgh Festival surviving solely on your artistic talent? Could you trade your skills in return for food, accommodation and travel? Could you make the 4000 kilometer journey in just five weeks… and then put on a show / exhibition at the end?

If you are a chutzpah-fueled cultural adventurer who believes in the power of art, we’d love to hear from you.

Illuminations Television is looking for four contributors for a forthcoming Sky Arts series, The Art of Survival.

Two pairs of Artistes and Artists and Musicians will compete against each other – and the winners will be the couple who make the most money from touting their work and skills.

You’ll need available from 30th July to 5th September 2010, over 18 and from the United Kingdom. Males and females wanted. Auditions will take place in London, the week beginning 19th July. Contributors will audition separately, not as teams.

We’ll even pay you for this. In return for going hungry and probably sleeping all over Greece, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and France, we’re delighted to offer a fee of £5000 to each of the four contributors. The winners will claim the equivalent value of the fee again.

BONIFANTES, Boy ‘s  Choir from Pardubice, Czech Republic, is scheduling their tour for the 2010-2011 season in the UK.  For Concerts in any City please carry on reading.
BONIFANTES Boys‘ Choir, one of the best in our country are accompanied by a fantastic atmosphere, resulting from the spontaneous expression of young singers. They have traveled all over Europe and the United States, they participated in a film with Gérard Depardieu and also performances of opera (Carmen, La Tosca, The Barber of Seville, etc …). The choir has received numerous awards and medals at international competitions and have recorded many CD‘s.
 
There has been an exceptional  reaction by both listeners and music critics, as you may see below. Their concerts are exceptional in terms of stagecraft and enriched by passages from operas and compositions from their artistic director, Jan Misek.

 June 18 to 21, July 16 to 31;
26 November to 4 December,
December and April 21 to 30 2011.
 
Terms of payment are the following:
£4000.00  for the concert + accommodation or £6000.00 for the concert without accommodation.
The conditions for their trip:
The choir consists of 32 singers aged 12-20, 1 conductor and 4 members of the support team
 - Their standard arrival is three hours before the concert
-  We will provide 30 posters for the concert.
