The performance of these lovely ladies at your dinner or party will bring down the house… The girls give a stunning performance which includes gorgeous harmonies and solo numbers. Depending on the scale of your event and budget they can be perform in full format with the four voices, or reduced down to three or even two to enchant at smaller functions.

Meet the Ladies…

Sara, soprano (the fiery red head) earned her Masters Degree with Departmental Distinction in Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Her operatic lead roles have included Gretel in Hansel and Gretel and Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro, and she has performed in many venues such as Covent Garden’s Royal Opera House and Painters Hall.

Cath, soprano (the sassy blond) recently completed her studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Her performances include Cinderella in Steven Sondheim’s Into the Woods and she has performed on the Palladium stage, at The Royal Albert Hall, The Palace Theatre and Westminster Abbey.

Ksynia, mezzo soprano (our statuesque brunette of short chestnut locks) is currently completing her Masters at the Royal Academy of Music. She has sung roles such as Cherubino, Hansel, Nancy, Dorabella and Carmen for a variety of companies including Raymond Gubbay, the Buxton Festival, Northern Chamber Opera and Philharmonia Voices in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and the Barbican.

Lisa, mezzo (our petite brunette of luscious long curls) completed her Masters of Performance in Opera at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She has sung as a soloist at the Tri-nations Rugby League, the Design Awards, and for audiences including the Australian Prime Minister at Angel Place Recital Hall in Sydney.

…But then if you are feeling a bit sorry for the ladies in the audience, perhaps missing Nessun Dorma, or just want to …add on a bit of surprise for sheer fun, the act can also appear ‘Hot Opera Plus” when half way through the performance appears the fifth ‘lady’ ….our not-so-punctual and always-looking-for-a-reason-to-dress-in-drag-tenor, Russell, whom will burst in mid-performance to add his lyric tones and adding some of the fantastic tenor repertoire to the show.

Client Comment

The Russian Choir is an a cappella choir. They sings unaccompanied music from the Russian repertoire

The Russian Choir is an a cappella choir. They sings unaccompanied music from the Russian repertoire: music for Russian Orthodox services and well know Russian folk songs. The choir is based in Glasgow, Scotland and it has performed on a national and international base.

It made 2 public appearances before the end of 2004, and has continued performing regularly since then, both in Eastwood and beyond. More recently, some well-known Russian folksongs have been added to the repertoire, and performed in concert.

This beautiful passionate music is a joy to sing, and has given huge enjoyment to those who have listened to it. Vladimir Morozov, their artistic director and conductor, has brought and taught them all this music, making for a very rewarding experience for choir members and audience alike.

A quick note to say how impressed I was with the performance of the 4 guys at my nephew’s wedding. They stole the show ))) The guys were professional, funny, relevant and balanced the whole show wonderfully. I finally decided to leave the decisions and logistics entirely in their hands in terms of performance, and not to either join in or interfere – wise choice .

AKAppella_on_Radio2

I am delighted, basically, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, anywhere. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all your support, as soon as the photos are sorted out, I’ll send you copies of the best ones. The whole family are still talking about them.
All the best, Howard

These cheeky boys will arrive at your party and until the moment is right only you will know that they are not
in fact the opportunistic party crashers that stumbled into your beautiful venue in hopes of scoring some drinks and meeting the bridesmaids!…

If you’d prefer a bit less drama, of course, they would be willing to concede to an agreed brief to be invited guests (with plausible story), hotel or restaurant staff, security etc etc, but once the drama culminates and they launch into their performance, these young men will not fail to melt the hearts of even the most discerning bridesmaid and win the consent
of her father!

These four are no ordinary party crashers, in fact their skill and intuative musical talent in performing their a cappella four part arrangements of Doo-Wop, classic Rock & Roll, traditional Barbershop and BeBop and also incorporating Gospel, Jazz and Soul; they cover classic a cappella songs such as ‘Life Could be a Dream’ and ‘Goodnight Sweetheart’
amongst others but also pride themselves in taking some very contemporary songs and making unique covers of them in these classic styles.

“Very slick indeed. Thanks for coming along and charming us all with your songs!” (Virgin Media)

They hail from the port town of Lowestoft on the East Coast – birthplace to Benjamin Britten and, indeed, can boast a relation to the famous composer (cousin twice removed – and boy do they boast!) . The quartet’s innovative approach and original style has brought them to the attention of BBC Radio 2 who invited them to make a live appearance resulting in recording a personal jingle for the station. When these boys appear at your party, you know you’re in for a great time!

“You looked great, You sounded great. you delivered on every level. When are you available to come back and perform here again?!” (De Vere Hotels)

The quartets help you to create a light and spirited atmosphere and a memorable occasion that your guests will talk about long after.
The quartets are made up of some of the best young voices in the UK, students and graduates of the Guildhall School of Music and professional singers hand selected to perform to the highest standard.
Mobility and flexibility of the carol singing quartets allows them to greet guests as they enter, roam amongst them with a song while they eat and mingle, or sing by the Christmas tree enchanting guests as they come and go.

Testimonials

Good Morning Sara, Both of my managers came in this morning saying how fantastic the singers were, and that they added such a lovely atmosphere to the evening. Eleanor said that both their professionalism and their talents were of the highest calibre and this was noted by many of the guests. Please pass on our gratitude to the quartet; we hope that they enjoyed themselves as well. Thank you so much for all of your assistance, we will most certainly be recommending you to our partners and clients! And should we require any vocalists for any of our future events, we shall no doubt be in touch.
- Kristine, 47 Park Street
We are just dropping you a line to say how thankful we are for all you efforts and professionalism in enabling us to put on a great Christmas Party for Tesco Property Services… To say we are pleased is somewhat of an understatement… it was very well received and to this end we are extremely happy.
She is quite remarkable. Her voice is mature and polished and her interpretations are not superficial. It shows the security of her velvet low notes. Her phrasing is a joy, there are no flaws here. What I like most is the effortlessness in her performance. It is sung without cloying sentiment, but still with that beautiful and very earthy voice. Quite delightful! What I like about her singing is the total lack of excess and effect. The music speaks for itself and so it should. There are no glissandi or portamenti, no playing to the gallery, no tear-jerkers, no nonsense – just music sung for music’s sake and sung well. She should have a worthy career which I will watch with interest.”
