String Ensemble In London


The November String Ensemble is a versatile and professional string ensemble that formed with graduates from the UK’s most prestigious conservatoires such as the Royal College, Guildhall School of Music and Royal Northern College of Music.

They have performed in venues and events like the Barbican Centre, Cadogan Hall, Royal Festival Hall, The East Wintergarden, Windsor Hall, St. Jhon’s Smith Square, Hobart Hall Hotel, Alton College, BBC Proms, Saint Mary-le-Strand Church, NHS Manchester, Manchester Town Hall, Liverpool O2 Arena, and many more.

They specialise in providing elegant background music for corporate events and weddings. They have wide and varied repertoire list includes music range from every style and if you can’t find what you are looking for, they will arrange it specially for you!

Ensemble Line-up

First Violin- Ewelina
At the age of seven Ewelina has started to play violin. Her musical abilities have been nurtured from a young age with continuous recitals and performances that have resulted in her love for the stage. Ewelina is an active chamber and orchestral musician, she held first and second position with the string quartet in the regional competitions in Malopolska.

Second violin – Simona
Simona started to play violin at the age of six. She finished music gymnasium in her home town and continued her studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she gained a Bachelor Degree. During those years she played in many concerts, competitions, festivals and master classes as a soloist and chamber groups/orchestra member. Then she moved to Belgium, where she played in different music projects and studied in the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

Viola – Lidia
Lidia studied in Spain until 2007 when she moved to London study a Bachelor of Music at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with professors Sven Arne Tepl and Rachel Roberts. She finished a Master in Performance at the Royal College of Music under professor Jonathan Barrit in 2013. Lidia was finalist in the Max and Peggy Morgan Competition in 2011 and had previously won several prizes in chamber music competitions in Spain. She was invited to play in the Philharmonia Orchestra “Infernal Dance” chamber music concert series in 2011 and has played in the BBC Proms 2012 as part of the RCM baroque orchestra.

Cello – Marta
Marta has just finished a two year Master in Solo Performance at the Royal Northern College of Music, where she also completed her BMus (Honours) degree. Marta is a keen chamber musician and has recently won the 2013 Ealing Music Competition with the Haru Piano Trio, and has concerts planned in London, Manchester and Bristol. She is also interested in performing new music has recently appeared on BBC´s The Culture Show and BBC Radio 3 In Tune, performing extracts of the new opera written by composer Martin Ward (ENO, ROH) and librettist Phil Porter (ROH, RSC). Marta is currently freelancing with a number of orchestras in London, including Orion Symphony Orchestra and London Arte Chamber Orchestra.
