The Stilo String Quartet was formed in 1997 and is now celebrated as one of the busiest and best quartets working commercially in London and the South East.

In addition to concerts in the UK and abroad the quartet has provided the music for a variety of corporate events including Laura fashion launches, events for RDF Media, SELT, Gordon Ramsay at Claridge’s, NCG Media, Bovingdons, political parties, Royal Bank of Scotland, Kingsley Napley and numerous other organisations.

The Estilo String Quartet regularly performs at all of the major wedding venues in the South East, testament to its position as one of the most regularly contracted wedding quartets. Spencer House, The Royal Geographical Society, St John’s Waterloo, Claridge’s, Belvedere Restaurant, Leeds Castle, National Gallery, Cooling Castle Barn, Hampton Court, Royal Festival Hall, Trinity House, Buxted Park, Chilston Park Hotel, the Lansdowne Club, the Dorchester Hotel and Holland Park Orangery have all played host to them!

Individually, members work with a number of prestigious orchestras including the RPO, RLPO, Royal Ballet Sinfonia, Philharmonia, LSO, ENO, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Southbank Sinfonia and shows including West Side Story, A Little Night Music and Aspects of Love. Members have also worked with an array of diverse artists such as Oasis, Kanye West, Hayley Westenra, Goldfrapp, McFly, Il Divo, Gnarls Barkley, Paul Potts, Michael Ball, Lemar, Katherine Jenkins, The Noisettes, Mike Oldfield, Adele, Katharine Jenkins, Damon Albarn and Take That.

Members often arrange pieces for the Estilo String Quartet to perform and the quartet also works regularly with professional composers and arrangers who are commissioned to arrange specific requests from bridal couples.
