Think rock, pop and soul and you think electric guitars, drums and keyboard. But why should a musical style be restricted by it’s instrumentation? With this in mind, vocalist Tim Hood approached arrangers Timothy Kraemer and Bill Thorp with the idea of reworking a collection of classics such as Jimi Hendrix’s Purple Haze for string quartet, bass and voice.

The result is Strung Out.

Our Christmas carollers bring “Joy to the World” and a festive atmosphere “Decking the Halls”, and “Wishing you a Merry Christmas”! The quartets help you to create a light and spirited atmosphere and a memorable occasion that your guests will talk about long after.
The quartets are made up of some of the best young voices in the UK, students and graduates of the Guildhall School of Music and professional singers hand selected to perform to the highest standard.
Mobility and flexibility of the carol singing quartets allows them to greet guests as they enter, roam amongst them with a song while they eat and mingle, or sing by the Christmas tree enchanting guests as they come and go.

Testimonials

Good Morning Sara, Both of my managers came in this morning saying how fantastic the singers were, and that they added such a lovely atmosphere to the evening. Eleanor said that both their professionalism and their talents were of the highest calibre and this was noted by many of the guests. Please pass on our gratitude to the quartet; we hope that they enjoyed themselves as well. Thank you so much for all of your assistance, we will most certainly be recommending you to our partners and clients! And should we require any vocalists for any of our future events, we shall no doubt be in touch.
- Kristine, 47 Park Street
We are just dropping you a line to say how thankful we are for all you efforts and professionalism in enabling us to put on a great Christmas Party for Tesco Property Services… To say we are pleased is somewhat of an understatement… it was very well received and to this end we are extremely happy.
