Meet the duos
Susanna (soprano) read music at Anglia University, where she was awarded the Roy Helmore Prize for her performance of a Mozart aria. She went on to complete a post graduate diploma in Opera Performance from Trinity College of Music in London. Operatic roles have included Dido in Dido and Aeneas for Isleworth Baroque, Oscar in A Masked Ball for Figaro Opera, and Susan in The Dinner Engagement for Morley Opera. At the prestigious Dartington International Summer School she has sung the title role in Lully’s Isis and a lead role in Philidor’s Tom Jones.
In productions of The Magic Flute Susanna has sung the role of Papagena for Opera Wales, and that of First Boy for both Opera Box and Kentish Opera. In 2010 she was short-listed for the Kiri Te Kanawa BBC Radio 2 prize. In the same year, she appeared as a cigarette girl in Carmen with Opera Holland Park. Susanna is also an accomplished Baroque and Early music performer. She has sung solo recitals with Baroque ensembles extensively around the UK – including the Warwick Arts Festival and at London’s Hackney Empire Theatre – and abroad, at the Grammont Abbey Festival in western France. During 2011, Susanna is appearing in Don Pasquale and L’Amico Fritz for Opera Holland Park’s 2011 season.
Eve (mezzo soprano) read music at University of Edinburgh and continued her vocal studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. In Cardiff, Eve performed the roles of Mrs Olsen Street Scene, Ottavia Il Coronazione di Poppea and Dryad Ariadne auf Naxos. She also sang as a backing vocalist for the West End star, Peter Karrie Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera on his British tour. Other operatic roles include Cherubino The Marriage of Figaro, Servilia La Clemenza di Tito, and Third Lady The Magic Flute.
Eve has sung for Opera Holland Park for four seasons, making her solo debut in 2004 as Bridesmaid in Le Nozze di Figaro. Oratorio solos include Mozart Requiem, Haydn Stabat Mater, Monteverdi Vespers and Vivaldi Gloria. As a session singer Eve has sung on film soundtracks including Reign of Fire, Spongebob Squarepants and Hannibal Rising as well as the best-selling classical rock albums Era by Eric Levi and The Wizard and the Forest of Dreams by Rick Wakeman. Eve has also worked as a vocal animateur for English National Opera Baylis Programme.
The Divas are spellbinding. They are my first choice as entertainment and have entranced guests at many events and parties I have organised. They will always get a return booking from me, so you’d better get to the back of the queue!
– Griff Rhys
The Divas were excellent. Their operatic highlights were, well-a-highlight
You were a wonderful trio who gave a great performance which was gauged just right to balance musical virtuosity with pure entertainment. It was all much appreciated, and thank you for coming and meeting everyone afterwards…

Thanks to both of you again for really making the church service very special for both of us and our guests. We had a lovely day and your singing was the best part of the whole wedding
The first note of their angelic voices confirmed to me that I had hired the best! They mesmerised the congregation with their sheer talent
These two slim and rather attractive girls joined the party and we were quite astonished how they filled the room with such beautiful sound.
