Hello There,
Please excuse the email by way of introduction, but I am contacting you in the hope that you may be able to let your choir know about the forthcoming production of Molora, at the Rose Theatre in Kingston.
Molora is a South African adaptation of the Greek Trilogy, the Oresteia and is a powerful and wonderful piece. Please see the links below for the recent review from The Times and a clip of the production on You Tube. The Times said “This is theatre from the gut. I cannot recommend it highly enough.”
Molora features the Chorus of Xhosa tribeswomen, who bring grace and humanity to the drama through their ancient art of ‘split tone‘ singing, adding a haunting intensity to this evocative production. We think that your group would really enjoy this.
Molora will be at the Rose Theatre from 20-24 May, daily at 7.30pm and tickets start at just £7. We do hope that you will join us for this wonderful production.
Very best wishes,
Louise Gilbert
